It is unusual for Commercial finance brokers to carry MCD/Mcob permissions as most brokers carry only consumer credit permissions. We believe that there is a gap in the market for those speciliast products that are regarded as regulated mortgage contracts for example;
- Regulated self-build development finance
- Finance for Semi-commercial property where the applicant is to live in the building
- Regulated Bridging Finance
- Business funding where a first charge is to be taken over the applicants residence.
Here at Key, we have recognised this gap, and as a result we have acquired full regulatory permissions to enable the firm to undertake Mcob/MCD loans in addition to the more normal commercial/consumer credit permissions.
